Adriaen Pietersz Van De Venne, Wedding lottery at The Hague fair (1656) sold for $108,700 (EUR95,200), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in Paris on June 11.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $93,200, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 1986 for $15,500 at Sotheby's.

Oil on panel, 84.0 x 113.5cm. The work has been traded once in the past.
