The Langen Foundation in Neuss, Germany, will host 'Can I Be?', a solo exhibition by American artist Adam Pendleton, running from April 19 to August 8, 2026.
The exhibition will feature Pendleton's distinctive paintings, which engage with themes of abstraction, language, and history. His practice, often identified with his 'Black Dada' framework, frequently references Minimal and Conceptual art traditions through the precise application of silkscreen ink and black gesso.
Pendleton's work explores the intersections of contemporary American art, identity, and socio-political discourse, positioning him as a significant voice within the contemporary art landscape. He is represented by David Kordansky Gallery.
