Adam Pendleton, Black Dada (K) (2022) sold for $1.02m, more than six and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 20. The silkscreen ink and black gesso on canvas, on two joined panels work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $415,200, a 68% rise.
