Adam Cullen, Outside Glenrowan (2011) sold for $74,800 (AUD104,300), more than twice the low estimate at Menzies in Melbourne on August 27. The synthetic polymer paint on canvas work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $6,949, a 10% rise.
