Brian Clarke’s ‘Riyadh’ (G2-5, 2017), a stained glass folding screen, takes its title from the capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An intricate abstract pattern covers the entire twelve panels connected by a black wooden framework. Following a chain-like motif, blue circles are linked by smaller red and purple segments, enclosing ochre hexagons.
