Join us online via YouTube to gain a unique insight into MadC’s prolific career and to view the exhibition before it opens to the public on 18th November. Luisa Heese, the author of HENI’s recent publication MadC: Street to Canvas, will interview MadC and provide her own insights into the artist’s work and life. All guests will have the opportunity to ask their own questions and drinks will be provided for in-person guests.
MadC: Street to Canvas is the title of the 240-page monograph, which includes texts by Luisa Heese and over 150 images that richly document the full breadth of MadC’s public outdoor works and paintings on canvas.
The exhibition, also titled Street to Canvas, will include twenty paintings on canvas made over the last year. The largest work in the show measures 4.5 meters wide, an explosive and immersive work that bridges the public and private aspects of MadC’s practice.
