The two-volume set of Hans Ulrich Obrist’s celebrated Post-it note series features a curated selection of 211 handwritten notes from some of the world’s leading figures in arts and culture, drawn from his ongoing social media project which has garnered over 400,000 Instagram followers.

In his open-ended project, Obrist collects an abundance of thoughts for the day, dreams, drawings, musings, jokes, quotations, questions, answers, poems and puns from some of the world’s greatest contemporary artists. Handwritten on everyday Post-it notes, this endeavour seeks to revive the art of handwriting amid an ever-advancing digital age. The result is one of the most comprehensive, intimate looks at the art world from the inside.

From the reassuringly philosophical to the inspiringly straightforward, the ingeniously funny to the tenderly posthumous, Remember to Dream! and Wish You Were Here paint a vivid picture of the art world as told directly by many of the most celebrated artists of the twenty-first century.

Both books are designed by award-winning book designer Irma Boom, who interprets each handwritten note to capture the character of its author with her ingenious and original typography.
