Jacob Rothschild, dynastic collector and philanthropist, has died at 87

Lord Rothschild, the leading member of the banking dynasty, was a noted arts philanthropist, collector and custodian of the family's country home Waddesdon Manor, where he commissioned artists, such as Joana Vasconcelos, to create eye-catching works.
