Sam Francis Work Could Deliver a 25% Negative Return at Auction

Sam Francis, Untitled (SF80-873) (1979) is due to be sold at Rago 'Post War & Contemporary Art' on March 12, 2025 with a $35,000 to $55,000 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2017 for $46,900 at Los Angeles Modern Auctions. This is $11,900 more than its new low estimate. If it sells for less than the low estimate on March 12, 2025 it could realize a 25% negative return.
