Pindar Van Arman is a Texas-based artist who has gained recognition for his innovative digital art. He is best known for his use of machine learning to teach painting robots to create increasingly complex artworks. One of his recent works, primordial skullGANg, was sold at a Sotheby's for 21.9 ETH ($35,560), more than twice the high estimate. Van Arman's contribution to the digital art scene has also been recognized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), which has acquired one of his works via a donation made by the pseudonymous collector Cozomo de' Medici.
Van Arman's work was also featured in a Superrare exhibition "Momentum Generation", which showcased a range of artists who express themselves through modern surrealism, glitch art, AI, and pixel art.
