Martha Jungwirth's Auction Record Jumps 30%

Martha Jungwirth, The Big Chinese (2020) sold for $313,800 (GBP240,000), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on October 9. The oil on paper mounted on canvas work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $72,500, a 30% rise.
