M.F. Husain Work Could Deliver a 40% Negative Return at Auction

M.F. Husain, Untitled (Girl) (1953) is due to be sold at Christie's 'South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art' in New York on March 19, 2025 with a $40,000 to $60,000 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2008 for $67,000 at Sotheby's. This is $27,000 more than its new low estimate. If it sells for less than the low estimate on March 19, 2025 it could realize a 40% negative return.
