Jan van Huysum, Roses, orange blossom, peonies, narcissi, poppies and other flowers in a terracotta vase decorated with putti, and a bird’s nest on a marble ledge, before a niche, is due to be sold at Christie's in London on June 30, 2026 with a $3.34m (GBP2.5m) to $4.67m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2003 for $4.71m at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 59% higher than its previous low estimate of $2.09m.

Oil on panel, 81.0 x 60.6cm. The work has been traded 13 times in the past.
