Ivon Hitchens Work Could Deliver a 12% Negative Return at Auction

Ivon Hitchens, Arched Trees No. 14 (1954) is due to be sold at Christie's 'Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale' in London on March 20, 2025 with a $31,800 (GBP25,000) to $44,500 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2010 for $36,400 at Christie's. This is $4,660 more than its new low estimate. If it sells for less than the low estimate on March 20, 2025 it could realize a 12% negative return.
