Damien Hirst, Typhoid (2003) sold for $78,700 (GBP61,000), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Phillips in London on March 7.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $872, equivalent to an annualized return of 0%. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $77,800 at Phillips.
