Baya Work Sells for $62,800 to Deliver a 15% Annualized Return

Baya, Untitled (Plateau, lampes, fruits et papillons) (1973) sold for $62,800 (GBP48,300), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in London on November 6.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $47,900, equivalent to an annualized return of 15%. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $14,900 at Gros & Delettrez.
