Auction Record Set For Peter Hujar

Peter Hujar, Self-Portrait (with string around his neck) (1980) sold for $252,000, more than five times the low estimate at Christie's Online on April 3.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $94,500, a 60% rise.
