Stars and Stripes is a series of five limited edition silkscreen prints by acclaimed artist and social historian Nicola Green. The prints are based on Green’s original, spray-painted, mixed-media collages, which serve as a celebration of how the impossible can be achieved when people come together. By focusing on single, expressive hand gestures, the works evoke the legacy of social movements across time and place.

Heirloom is a tapestry by acclaimed artist and social historian Nicola Green. Heirloom marks the debut of Green's iconic fist motif in tapestry form. The piece focuses on the raised fist as an enduring global symbol of strength and solidarity. The artwork and its title refer to the value of what we pass down across generations, including our individual and collective struggles and shared spirit of “we shall overcome”.

All of the artworks are on display at the HENI Gallery from 15 - 23 May.
