HENI is delighted to present the physical prints for Great Expectations by Damien Hirst, following the collection of 10,000 NFTs that he released in 2021. The editions are Diasec-mounted Giclée prints on aluminium composite panel, measuring 80 x 80 cm each. The prints are hand-signed on the front by Damien Hirst.
Holders of a Great Expectations NFT can purchase a print of the artwork featured on their NFT. Each NFT can be used only once in respect of the purchase of the corresponding physical print. The NFT will be burned in the process. Each of the editions in the series will be unique.
The purchase window for the Great Expectations prints is open from 9 November 2023 to 18 January 2024 at 17:00 GMT.
Damien Hirst
Damien Hirst is a British artist whose name has become synonymous with contemporary art. Since his generative work as a student at Goldsmiths School of Art, Hirst's production has been boundary−redefining in nature. Working primarily in installation, painting, sculpture and drawing, Hirst explores the complex relationships between art, beauty, religion, science, life and death. He constantly returns to his foundational interests and themes, which he reworks to develop an innovative visual language.

About Great Expectations
Released to holders of The Currency NFTs, the Great Expectations NFT collection contains 10,000 unique artworks made by Damien Hirst. At the centre of these artworks are grids of emoji-like pregnant women whose forms have been constructed from spots of various shapes, sizes and colours taken directly from The Currency artworks themselves. The collection references some of the most iconic imagery from Hirst’s monumental career.
While the structure and basic forms are repeated across the series, each NFT is individualised by colour or unique attributes. The attributes are divided into seven categories, which include accessories, clothes, facial features, hair, headwear, occupation and background. Naturally, some attributes or combinations of attributes are rarer than others.
Unique Prints
Each of the Great Expectations NFTs is made unique through its combination of colours or attributes. Each NFT can be used only once in respect of the purchase of the corresponding physical print, which means that each of the physical prints in the series will also be unique. The prints will be hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the label.

Purchase Window Opens
The purchase period for Great Expectations opens on 9 November 2023 and will last until 18 January at 17:00 GMT.
Purchase Window Closes
After the purchase window has ended, HENI will start production of the artworks. Each print will be hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the label, and carefully packaged for shipment.
Distribution
HENI estimates that all orders will be dispatched within three months of the close of the purchase window. Customers will be contacted with a tracking number before their work is shipped.

In order to purchase a Great Expectations print, you need to own an NFT. If you do not currently own a Great Expectations NFT but would like to purchase one so that you can buy a print, you can follow the instructions below.
To purchase NFTs you will need a MetaMask wallet. This article explains how to create and use a MetaMask wallet.
To use your NFT on the HENI website, you will need to transfer it to the Palm network using the bridge. This article explains how to use the bridge.

The prices indicated for the physical prints of the Great Expectations are exclusive of VAT, delivery charges, insurance or any customs or import duties or local taxes that may be payable. For orders shipping to the UK, Standard Rate VAT will be applied and collected at checkout.
If your shipping address is outside of the UK, you will be responsible for any customs or import duties and local taxes that may be payable.
Where such duties or taxes are payable in respect of any works ordered, we do not collect and pay them on your behalf. You are responsible for paying any amounts due directly to the applicable customs authority. We are not able to offer any guidance on customs or import duties or local taxes and recommend that you contact your local customs office for details.
The total number of physical prints for Great Expectations will be limited by time and by demand.
The NFT collection of Great Expectations contains 10,000 NFTs. This means that the maximum possible number of prints will be 10,000 if everyone purchased a print and burned their NFT. However, the actual number produced will be determined by how many prints are ordered during the purchase window.

CHOOSE YOUR ARTWORK
Go to the My NFTs page and select the ‘Physicals’ tab. Here you will find the artworks available to purchase as a physical print. Select the artwork you want to purchase and click on the ‘Purchase Now’ button.

If your NFTs are not on the Palm network, you are able to use the bridge to transfer the NFTs from Ethereum to Palm.
COMPLETE ORDER DETAILS AND PAYMENT
Follow the steps in the purchase flow and carefully fill out your contact information and payment details.
Once you have confirmed your order details, you are asked to complete payment before moving on to the final step.
BURN NFT
Upon payment, you are asked to burn the NFT and complete your order.
Please follow the instructions on your MetaMask app and authorize the HENI website to access your token. No funds will be taken from your account.
